Note: The icons in the published document (on the Kindle) are approximately 1/4 inch or 7 mm tall. Samples may or may not reflect this (Computers - ARGH!).

This is a parking spot for things that affect you in your community: Do you forget where you put the new open gym schedule or new compost and bulky item pickup schedule? Are there yearly community events that you miss because you always read about them after they occur? Do you always look in the telephone book when the power goes out because you still didn't program the power outage number into your phone? Do you know the first names of neighbors but not their last names and phone numbers in case you ever need to call them in the event of an emergency?

This document was designed for you. Stick all those things here. You can insert new notes when things change and then delete the old notes. If you want an ongoing record of things like water rate changes or property tax changes, you can note them here.

A 'Modern Design' formatted specifically for multi-sized e-readers, the categories are: To Do's, Events, Friends, Volunteer, Cafes, Schools, Stores, Parks, Gyms, Doctors, Emergency, Trash, Compost, and Water and Taxes.

The advantage of having a published document where you can park notes is that it's easy to find and the information is stored in your {My Clippings} file - a file which can be backed up regularly on your computer or simply synced with the document if it's on your computer.

Beware: when you insert notes, you MUST make sure you save them and they are easy to delete and easy to overwrite (but great to have!). When you enter them, remember that the note number will most often show up AFTER the word/symbol. YOU want to put your cursor BEFORE (or highlight over) the word/symbol and MAKE SURE that no other note is BEHIND the word/symbol.

It's possible to overwrite a note you don't see on the bottom or side of the screen if you don't pay attention to how they get stored. Just pay attention.
