every puzzle. In this series, puzzle difficulty is ranked as "Easy" with numeric
rankings ranging from 3 to 4.
Each puzzle has a second version that is annotated to show the the first three
steps of the deductive solution to help you begin solving some of the more
difficult puzzles. For use in classrooms, as well as for beginners who have
little experience working these types of logic puzzles, the step-by-step
deductive solutions contains a third version of each puzzle that can be used to
work toward the solution. This version has the step number shown in every empty
location, rather than in just the first three steps, indicating that the value
in that location can be logically deduced, given that all of the previous steps
with lower numbers have been correctly solved.
You can "print" any version of a puzzle by photocopying your kindle so that you
can work the puzzle on paper. Teachers in grades K-12 are permitted to photocopy
and use these puzzles in their classrooms.
