A photographer and history enthusiast tours the archaeological site of the ancient Minoan civilization - Knossos - on Crete. This is primarily a book of color digital photographs, but provides brief prose for the current and historical palace-city of Knossos and relevant maps. Each of the seventy 7-inch by 10-inch photographs are framed (eg: a narrow black border) for presentation. The book is dedicated to Sir Arthur John Evans, the British archaeologist and primary excavator of Knossos, and prolific interpreter-transcriber of Knossos Linear A clay tablets.
