"Quiz Bowling--300: Literature Edition" is a collection of quizzes for book lovers of all ages from high school to high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Using the same format and scoring as the earlier "Quiz Bowling" books, this book contains twelve games of four rounds each with a total of 660 questions and answers on literary topics ranging from Ancient Greek drama to the Twenty-first Century. The vast majority of the questions are on books, plays, poems, and essays that we have encountered in high school and college English classes. The majority of the works are by American and British writers, but many familiar non-English works are also included. The book is designed for a moderately well-educated general audience. Few obscure works are included, but even a literature major will have difficulty scoring a perfect 300 score on many of the games. The primary objective of the game is to provide a fun pastime or friendly competition for lovers of great books. Have fun!
