Judy Taylor relished her simple happy life. She had a loving husband, three young daughters, a beautiful suburban home. But after intestinal blood clots annihilated her guts, Judy faced starving to death in a cold Toronto hospital. The year was 1970.

Back then, most doctors still considered long-term intravenous feeding to be science fiction. But Judy lived two more decades without eating on this "science fiction." Her courage and the innovative methods of her young doctor saved her life and allowed her to see her daughters grow up and her grandchildren born. Her willingness to be a guinea pig also saved many lives. For over twenty years, Judy and Dr. "Jeej" honed the medical procedures and nutritional requirements for Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), making groundbreaking discoveries along the way and inspiring many to embrace this different kind of life. TPN became the basis for modern intravenous feeding, saving tens of thousands of people around the world.

"Lifeliner" is about Judy's inspirational story from death to life, from ordinary woman to medical pioneer.
